Application of cermet technology in diamond wheel field

The diamond grinding wheel produced by Diaer is a cermet based grinding wheel. Among them, cermet is a new material independently developed and designed by Chengdu Meiselui, which has the following characteristics:
- 1. Ceramic metal has good stress control performance. The cermet is single-phase uniform structure, has good diamond surface wettability, in the synthesis process has good compressive stress generation and release performance, to ensure the good interface between the cement and diamond /CBN.
- 2. Ceramics have good thermal properties. Compared with the conventional ceramic materials, the thermal conductivity of the cermet is increased by 10-100 times. The high thermal conductivity ensures the uniform transfer of heat in the grinding process of the diamond wheel, which is conducive to improving the grinding speed and grinding speed of the wheel.
- 3. Ceramic metal has good mechanical properties. The cermet has moderate hardness and high strength.
